Call the salon or fill in the short form. Give a wedding date if you have one, the venue if you know it, and any silhouette you already like. We hold ninety minutes for you and one guest. A second guest is fine. A room full of opinions is not.

North-window daylight, a pale concrete wall and a plain mirror angled away from the door. We ask what you want the dress to do, not what you have pinned on a mood board. Silk mikado holds a shape. Chiffon does not. That answer decides the next three gowns we bring out.

We measure before we order.
Bust, waist, high hip, low hip, torso and back length, taken with the shoes you plan to wear or shoes of the same heel height. A chart size is a guess. We have unpicked too many guessed bodices to trust one.

Written quote, then a deposit.
The quote comes to you in writing in US dollars, with the fabric, the yardage, the bodice changes and the delivery window itemised. A deposit places the order, and the amount is written on the quote before you agree to anything. No online checkout. No verbal price standing in for a written one.

Two fittings, sometimes three.
The first fitting is roughly ten weeks before the wedding. The second is four weeks out. If the bodice needs a real change, a third fitting sits between them. Bring the shoes and the underpinnings you will wear on the day. The hem is set to those shoes.

The gown is steamed the week of the wedding and hung in a breathable cover. We show you the bustle points once more so whoever is helping you can find them under the layers. Cathedral trains bustle to a natural waistline for the reception floor.
